Château Bois d’Arlène
« A delicate blend of tradition and modernity for a unique place, an ambitious project and exceptional wines. »
Château Bois d’Arlène is a 7-hectare vineyard estate created in 2013. It is located on the Garrigues de Vacqueyras terroir.
The particularity of this vineyard lies in the pond located in its centre, where a unique ecological reserve for the region is sheltered: a diverse fauna and flora, which make it a rare place of preservation for migratory and sedentary species. Currently in organic conversion, two wines are produced from this rich terroir: a red Vacqueyras and a white Vacqueyras.
Château Bois d’Arlène is an ambitious project on two fronts: Norge and Arlène, an epicurean couple from Seattle who fell in love with the region, and Philippe and Elizabeth, who are the latest of five generations of winemakers on the lands of Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise. Friends for nearly 20 years, they wish to develop an ambitious project together, to enhance this magnificent place and produce exceptional wines.
